N2  - In this article the author examines those Berbers in Morocco who are pro-Israel and who show an interest in the state of Israel and Jewish history, including a sympathetic view of the Jewish Holocaust during the Second World War. There is a historical connection between the Berbers and the Jews, both groups mounting resistance to Arab conquerors in ancient times. A number of topics are addressed including the Berber movement and the Jews of today, the Berber view of Israel, and the incidence of antisemitism in Morocco
